While attending the college, he had the opportunity to perform with the seven time Grammy nominated One O'clock Lab Band for two years; he recorded three albums with the band and performed at events including the Carmen Caruso competition and the Monterey Jazz Festival. Along with being a finalist for multiple jazz solo competitions (ATW 2025, ITF 2026), Alex was named one of the winners of the Yamaha Young Performing Artists competition this year. Alex has performed with major artists in the jazz idiom including Wycliffe Gordon, Vincent Herring, Nicholas Payton, Ingrid Jensen, Brian Lynch, and others. He's looking forward to sharing many nights of swinging music with the customers of Ricky's Wine Bar!
